Meet Kirsten Wikstrom

Kirsten’s passion for armchair house-hunting for friends and family led her to make a career of it. A long-time Chapel Hill resident with two teens in the school district, she has a lot of insight into the town’s unique neighborhoods, and into the award-winning Chapel Hill and Carrboro Schools.
 
After graduating from UNC-Chapel Hill with a business administration degree, Kirsten had a career in radio and advertising before co-founding and managing The Kitchen Mastering, an audio mastering studio in business for over 25 years.
 
Through that background she brings a wealth of experience in negotiating, paying attention to detail, and working with a diverse client base. Kirsten also has a keen eye for design and enjoys working with clients to discover the sometimes hidden potential of a house.
 
In her free time, Kirsten enjoys camping, hiking, singing, and exploring the Triangle food scene.
