We couldn’t think of a better, more inspiring, place to live than the Triangle. Here we’re afforded access to incredible art resources – increasingly comparable to other Metropolitan areas – but in Durham & Raleigh, the abundantly creative class turns out to be your next-door neighbor.  Here are profiles of 2 of the area’s home textile designers:

GREY GOODS STUDIO

The couple behind Grey Goods Studio, Brooke & Braedyn, are down-right fun-loving, good humored, and sincere. We got to spend time with them at a Gingham Creative event held at the RED studio, and we’re here to tell you, their charm, perspective, and attitude towards simple life and adventure is something you’ll find their designs embody as well: dynamic patterns & dreamy colors.

Find them online or at the following stores: Indio, Port of Raleigh, Covet, and Lavish.

Erica spent a decade in NYC heading up Macy’s international home department, so she knows the scene, and what it takes to stand apart from it all. Recently moving back to the area for a quieter pace, her artistry combined with her formidable knowledge of the textile industry is unparalleled, making every pattern a work of art.
